Mechanical Experience:
A total of 17 years hands-on experience in various locations throughout Africa with Industrial Mechanical experience in various industries, including – paper, detergent, tyre & chemical industries and more recently, specializing in exploration and the mining industry. The last 21 years have been spent in the diamond and RC drilling industry where the following experience has been gained:

- Site establishment for new drilling sites.
- Liaising with clients and updating progress reports regarding project status.
- Establish and supervise drilling operations.
- Maintenance, fabrication and repair to drilling related equipment.
- Hydraulic Engineering
- Plant design and Automation
- Earth moving equipment repair, maintenance and component repair and supply
- Diesel and petrol engines, repair, maintain and supply
- Transmission overhaul, repair and supply

Machines and equipment in the field, design and building of new drilling machines, both
Standard and purpose specific.
Logistics and Management Administration :
20 years’ experience managing business structures and people. Various Projects have been undertaken, for the logistics movements of 2 to 10000 persons. Complete control, responsibility and authority for high value budgets. A high standard of IT understanding and implementation has also contributed to this member’s value.
Sales and Marketing :
25 years’ experience in the FMCG industry in Southern Africa with visits to China, Singapore, Australia and India to view best practice methods. A full understanding and experience of Operational Delivery and Administrative Structure are both highly valuable for Marketing and Sales.
Finance:
18 years’ experience in Creditor and Debtor Finance with cross country corporate movements.
Project Administration & Procurement :
25 years’ experience in project management including large value budgets, appointment of suppliers, contracts and deadline delivery of large construction projects. For this member, procurement has become a specialty in the last 7 years, controlling and managing various suppliers.
Transport & Warehousing :
in both Operations and Administration – 23 years’ experience in various fields of road and courier transportation. Having the administrative skills which are strongly supported by the operational understanding, makes this member a valuable part of the MFR team.
Social Responsibility & Community Upliftment :
12 years’ experience in various communities in three continents including Africa, Asia(India) and South America. Experience with community based projects aiming at upliftment of community members specifically. Crossing language barriers to make projects successful and sustainable is this member’s lifelong commitment.

To establish and maintain a preferred supplier status with all clients , and to differentiate MFR from the competition through consistent quality and delivery of superior service to customers across all aspects of the business.
METICULOUS MAINTENANCE
Maintenance needs to take place regularly requiring specialised skills and immediate response times. MFR has a dedicated technical team servicing and maintaining our drill rigs. Crucial spares are kept in supply so that mechanical down-time can be addressed as quickly as possible.
